I sold something!

I have official sold my first item from Etsy

It was so exciting to get the email saying that I have sold something and the payment was received.  I am not really sure what did the trick to getting something sold besides my amazing talent at melting crayolas into beautiful art. I really think that Pinterest helped with advertising my art and store!  I have been a little skeptical to pinning my own items to  Pinterest however about 2 weeks after I pinned my art from my etsy store it was bought.  It had about 25 repins from my account and I am sure it branched out from there!  It is so very exciting!

What made this art sale even more amazing was that it was sold to someone in New York!  My art is now somewhere in New York!  I have not created as many new things for a while because I have been focusing my time on Scentsy - but now that I have sold something I really need to find a good balance of my time to let my creativity flow again!  I am hoping that I can expand my store to have more than 10 items at all times!

Thank You Cards!

So I woke up at around 3 in the morning and I could not stop thinking about Scentsy and how excited I was to start as a consultant!  I thought of this awesome idea of making thank you cards for the Hosts and the people that come to the parties that look like the warmers and scent bars!  The next day I created a few of these cards and hand wrote a message in each for everyone that came.  I received many complements and everyone loved them!
About a week later the directors were planning a meeting, auction, event to support one of our Scentsy sisters who recently lost her husband.  I wanted to do something to help! I thought making these cards to auction off would be a great way to try to get more money to be donated to her fund. The cards were a big hit and I was so happy that everyone loved them!
I am happy to have made many more and added them as an item to my Etsy Store
