Date Jar


I saw this on Pinterest and decided I had to do it!  It is from the Life in the Green house Blog.  If you did not have the paint it would still be less than $5 to make!  The sticks can be found in the children’s craft section at walmart, along with paint and if you do not have a jar could grab one from the dollar store!
 

 My “Jar” is a recycled container that had gummy bears in it!  I love gummy bears! 

I have about 30 dates and they are broken up into 3 different types of dates. 

Red: planning is required and/or $$$ 
  • Bed and Breakfast
  • Dinner at a fancy restaurant
  • Hotel stay for the night
  • Padre Game
  • Go camping
  • Coupes Massage
  • Go to a wine tasting
  • Go to K1 Speed (does not require much planning but can get pricy!) 

Pink: Little to no planning is needed and $$ to free!
  • Volunteer at the local shelter (homeless or animal)
  • Dessert only date
  • Bowling
  • Try a new restaurant
  • Miniature golf
  • Dinner and a movie (His choice)
  • Dinner and a movie (Her choice)
  • Go get yogurt
  • Bowling
  • Go Play pool or shuffleboard
  • Go to Cabrillo National Monument
  • Take couple pictures
  • Go to the driving range
  • Shooting range


Blue: Can do at the house and free or $

  • Plan our 5 year anniversary vacation
  • Build a bucket list – as a couple & individuals
  • Make a fire out back and enjoy
  • Watch the sunset at the beach
  • Make a time capsule
  • Takeout and board games
  • Pizza and Puzzle
  • Popcorn and Movie
  • Homemade pizzas and a movie
  • Cook a new meal together

I used scrapbook paper and a few stickers I had to decorate my container.  On the back is a little key!
Red = $$$ + Planning
Pink = $$ + out
Blue = stay at home
